Please follow the link on the left to my first Spectrum design, the ZX Spectrum Issue 7.

NB.: The Issue 7 uses conventional DIP ICs. Later, I plan to make an SMD design which will feature a much smaller PCB. One application of this could be that we can fit both a spectrum and some expansion(s) into the original spectrum case. Another application could be to make some kind of miniature portable assembly, perhaps even some sort of Spectrum mini-laptop which features a harddisk, compactflash, floppy drive, serial/parallel port and perhaps a microdrive connection from a built-in Interface One. Just a fantasy, I like small and portable units which include a lot of options... :)
